I shall be interested to get to know this mysterious Miss Smith that bid on me at the auction. She seems like quite the woman.

As for my painting, well I hope it found a decent home.

When I uprooted from my home in New York I left my client base. Unfortunately, despite working on Wall Street, my reputation has not preceeded me here. In point of fact, no one knew I was coming including myself. I only thought to come here because it was the home of a near and dear friend, Chairman Aizen. He has welcomed me graciously into his fair city and in my short time here I have become very fond. With its grandeur and history I can see why it means so much to him.

However, I can see how things have become tainted. I have watched as crime has rapidly escallated and seen how it has caused both the Chairman and the police to struggle to maintain order. The evil seems to outnumber those who would serve justice and uphold the law.

That is why I would like to do my part to help this city that has become my new home. I had, as a way to garner a reputation as well as earn money needed to remain here permanently, hired myself to the court system as a public defense attorney. I feel that criminals deserve a chance at a fair trial regardless of their crimes.

The recent actions of what I can only term a vigilante upset me. I would like to do all in my power to help bring this madman to justice. He has disrupted our criminal justice system and order MUST be restored. We must capture the criminals before he does and give them the protection of the law.

I try so hard to be honest and yet all the clients I have are backstabbing corporate executives. C'est la vie. It pays the bills and no one said I had to like my clientel.

And there's just something about celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Tijuana that makes the taquila taste better.

Now, I really aught to look at all these unanswered emails, memos, and faxes. It's a shame that the couch seems to be begging me to join it for a nap.

On the one hand you attract attention to yourself. And yet at the same time you create enough random chaos to shift the focus off you and diffuse it to others. I dont know whether to call your reckless or  brilliant sometimes. How is it you always come out smelling like roses you bastard? And bastard in this sense is a loving term of endearment. 

I'll be interested to see how well you play both victim and savior. It's sure to be a tour de force.

The BANCOUCH I ordered from Ikea is finally here. I'd forgotten what a bitch they are to put together. But now I have one again. Im tempted to forgo the bed in favor of lounging on the couch. Who says I have to be professional when Im at home?

Perhaps I should get another for my office. It always used to throw clients off to have to sit on a couch rather than a chair in a lawyer's office.
